It started way back in 2010 when I came in
Amity in Mechanical Engineering. I was so much nervous that I used to go home
as soon as classes got over. In first year my main aim was studies though I did
not scored much as I did not understood what was being taught in the class. I
even gave dance, cricket and basketball auditions in first year and was
selected for dance group. I got one back in a subject in second semester which
made me very much stressed and depressed. Then in second year I got to know
many students apart from my class which made me busy and I loved staying in
college. I liked spending time in college, playing sports like basketball and cricket
and even got more serious for studies. I scored well in next semesters
eventually and I gradually increased my CGPA. Then I got involved in many
competitions and I started participating in dance competitions in fest. It just
got better and better with time. I became a known person and I even took part
in engineering competitions like Efficycle organized by SAE and Business plan
competition organized by Sweden embassy. My confidence grew with exposure, The
college which was my stress causing thing interchanged into stress buster
thing. I became mentally strong and I even cleared SSB but was rejected in
conference. The exposure that I got in amity changed me totally and completely
and I just love myself as I am now. Because when I came in college we compared
ourselves with IIt-ians and now there is no comparison as we are way ahead then
them in all aspects. So my life in amity made me experience everything that I
can in life and totally changed me and now in final year I am just waiting for
getting placed in a good company. It would not have been possible if I was in
any other college instead of amity. So I personally would always cherish the
moments that I spent in college and I will always miss them.
