When happy hours got a little out of hand

Joining Amity was never on my bucket list but I ended up here because of the low scores in my high school. The way my interview went I was sure I was going to sit with people having mediocre personality and a very low self esteem. But as soon as I joined I was surrounded by people who din't care less for the same. I overheard someone speaking that someone here had an AIEEE ranking of less than 50000 and then decided to join Amity. It was beyond me. But my perceptions started to change.

I thought to myself that everybody must have had a huge luggage within themselves to land up here. I was told that "Amity mein to sabka ho jata hai" and I guess its true. But the way this college makes you ready for the crazy world outside is exceptional. Right from the first semester - Assignments&attendance. Both these things have ended up in shaping our psychology towards things.

Assignments has taught me to be hard working, even if in copying things.
Attendance has taught me to be punctual and be street smart.

All in all these 4 years have been a crucial year in shaping me into who I am now from who I was in 2010. Nothing is perfect. So we should face the fact that Amity is nowhere close to the best university we could have got but this is a class above the rest. The variety here is humongous. People from around the country come here. North, South, East or west all the people come and study here. My experience was the best in interacting with people and learning about the cultures and the way they live. The sex ratio here is by far the best among other engineering colleges (Not in Mechanical though).

In the end what matters is what you make of the experiences you have. And this college life has been a roller coaster and will be remembered for long. Till next time Goodbye.
