Being Amitian...

It was almost three and a half years ago, my competitve examinations had not gone as I had wished. Through some friends I came to know about Amity. I applied for it and eventually got admission. When I look back, I wonder how swiftly the time has passed. It doesn't seem long ago when we all were in the first year trying to come to terms with the unexpected course our lives had taken.(To be honest, I guess none of us have picked Amity as our first choice). Now it is just a matter of few months before we will complete our B.tech (hoping no backlogs in final sem or a yearback) and go out to build a career. I am looking forward to life without amizone. The time at Amity has been challenging as well as full of opportunities. Regardless of the fact that I did not study as hard as I would have liked, it is for sure that Amity has taught me a lot and helped me become a better individual. I made some incredible friends who were always there for me. It was great to see that how people from entirely different background got together se well and enjoyed each others company.
On some lighter note...
A. Lab assistants seem to be knowing more than lab faculties.
B. We spend more money at the xerox shop than at the book shop.
C. Usually our practical vivas (especially X batch) get over before time, i mean, after 1st or 2nd group itself because the externals are so exhausted after being fed with such out of the
world answers that they are no more capable of asking questions related to subject matter for next groups and endanger their own knowledge.
D. Through out the semester we curse our faculties for forcefully teaching us something greek but at the end of the sem, during exams, we curse them after discovering the fact, thanks to previous year's question papers, that faculties were equally clueless about the subject matter and more importantly syllabus.
E. All the Amitians have one common thing to wonder and the thing is that " how come Amity is non profit and no.1 pvt university.
