My experience at Amity

It has been almost 4 years since I first started filling up admission forms for different colleges. Didn't I have the slightest of idea back then that I would end up here.
As I get a chance to go down the memory lane writing down my "experience here at Amity", I would firstly like to thank Mr. Parveen Kumar for giving me this opportunity.

It was my first day as a student at Amity when I decided not to opt for the campus hostel and rather stay outside as a paying guest, a decision I soon started to regret. So, during the first few days of mine at Amity, orientation was on, and among the new people I got acquainted with was my classmate Parag, who made the boring orientation days fun for me and others around. All I can remember from orientation is laughing hysterically on his jokes.

My first year was full of fun and skipping classes, as I had got shortlisted amongst a few other Amity students, for performing yoga at the commonwealth games 2010. I cherished every moment I spent with those other students, who were all seniors. Very soon I realized that it was time I started studying as I had already failed in a couple of first semester subjects. So I took a bold decision and shifted to a flat where I lived alone. At first it wasn't easy to live all alone but soon I got used to it. So the semester passed by without much a do.

Since my second year I am living in the campus hostel where I found my best friends Abisesh, Chetan, Deepashu and others. Since then, I have started studying and paying more attention towards my goal. In my third year I became a member of the SAE club of ASET and this year as a final year project with the team, I am building a formula type race car for a competition. Apart from this, I have also participated in a number of dance competitions here at Amity.

Lastly, I would say that I have learnt a lot in the last four years, and I am happy to see myself as what I am today.
