College
days are the most memorable part of a person’s life that goes through it. In
this period we earn lots of things that include good friends, knowledge and
exposure to the real world. College let us meet with people from different
communities and different regions. During these years I earned some really good
friends. I still remember the first day of my college. Actually I was quite
nervous on that day. Everything was new initially and strange as well since I
have opted for B.tech in Mechanical and as it’s the culture, ‘There were no
girls’ it was only me and my cousin. But then after a week I came to know that
there is one more girl and frankly speaking I was so happy that now we are
three and we can handle the class boys. We three are now best friends forever.
Even many teachers gave us the title of “TRIMURTI” and “TEEN MAHARATHI” and
that was so funny .I live in hostel. This was a completely different home for
me, no parents, no relative, nothing, its all “YOU” all alone. In the beginning
I found it difficult to adjust because I am from a middle class family and I
found people over here very selfish, very sophisticated. I mean it was just
uncomfortable for me to walk with them whether in the class or in the hostel.
But as time passed on I started enjoying my life with my friends.
And
as the time passed everything got familiar. I used to feel that how could I
manage to study so many subjects in so little time. But time taught that also. Here,
I have learned I more thing that it is really easy for the ones to clear the
exam who simply learn the bookish language. Assignments are most of the times
done by us and copied by others. The criteria of ‘Marks distributions’ is
always out of my mind. But some days were most memorable like Manesar Military Camp,
Pune industrial tour and all time to time fests happened in college. These
tours gave me some really good male friends from my class. With technical
aspect college give a great chance to learn other language. The happiness after
completion of all exams of a semester is indescribable and sometimes it was a
kind a shock too. Hostel life sometimes feels awesome and sometimes very
irritating. Distance from home increases love for meeting parents and other
dear ones. But still I hope that for my future memories I’ll keep only the
positive factors that have earned in Amity and forget the rest.
