" college life "

Many students enter college expecting good times, knowledge, friendships, and a new sense of direction.
The college student who has children is faced with guilt about not being able to spend time with the children. The children has great demands on time. They need help with their homework, or need dinner and to be tucked in bed at a certain time. The thought of not being able to keep up with the demands of the children is very stressful and can be depressing to both the child and parent. In other words everyone suffers because you are unable to fulfill all the obligations that you have taken on.

Many people seem to believe that college students have it really easy. When I was in high school, I couldn’t wait until I graduated. Everyone always told me that college was so much fun, and it was so much easier than high school. I dreamed of the college life that I would have. I have realized, with this being my first year in college, that the life of a college student is a very difficult challenge. I never imagined just how hard it would be. Dropout rates are increasing everyday, and these problems are not being addressed properly, because previous generations show little sympathy for the struggles of the younger generation today.
College is extremely expensive. This puts a lot of pressure on the students as well as the parents. College costs leave the students in so much debt after they graduate that it will take them a lifetime just to pay it back

The college building is large and imposing, the lawns are a great beauty, the friends are loving and chatty and pofessors models of kindness. Freedom is writ large in and around the college. Opportunities for games, study, adventure and romance are many.

He may study or he may not if he so chooses. Nobody can force him to study against his will. Examinations may or may not be taken. He is now a responsible young man and competent to think for himself. His mettle and his character come out to play their part.

In brief, college life is a significant landmark which a student has to cross in his upward struggle. If a student makes the best use of his life at college and does not fritter it away in idle pursuits, he can rise to any height.
