My Experience at Amity

For most students, entering college is a terrifying and an overwhelming experience. It’s a case of when  the fear of the unknown is the greatest fear of all. I don’t know if we adjust to a place where every . Single student has to stand on their own two feet and take responsibility for our education and future.  And finally on 28^th July, 2010 the day arrived. I was quite nervous entering into a whole new world with different people around. I met with my new classmates and we started interacting with each other and the next thing we know is that we have to give a TEST!! I mean which college welcomes its new students with an exam on the very first day., But we Engineers, we can handle anything.  While walking from class to class I get a nice breeze and never feel like I am alone. It makes the university appealing because I always feel secure in my surroundings. The campus alone gives me a reason to attend. First year I skipped an exam and later in the 2^ndsemester I even had a back . I lost my confidence, but as you know there is always your time, next three years were about to show me success. Community college is all too often portrayed as a safety net for graduates that don’t have enough money or the grades to get into a four year university. But from the first day, I recognized that community college meant something more. It helped the transition of going from 12th  to a larger world full of different people and different experiences. You don’t have to live in a dorm, make your own The campus is wonderful, but on top of that the college also has both the subjects I would like to major in. The university has a variety of majors, including bioinformatics and creative writing. First off, I have researched and found that the university does very well in sciences, so I feel by going here  I would get a better experience than other colleges in the area. Also this summer I was able to make my own schedule, meet some fascinating people, including  a special friend that motivated me along the way, and assisted me into following a special path. I’m  proud to have one of my works on the verge of becoming a reality. If you told me that five years ago, I  wouldn’t believe it. But now, I can see that community college is a significant institution that can lead you  into looking inside yourself and revealing the true person within. Maybe the best thing about community  college is that it’s only the beginning Amity University will be cherished in my memories forever for the unforgettable journey it has accompanied me with.
