My
experience at Amity University has been one of the most unforgettable one.
These 4 years have challenge me in many way that no one could possibly imagine.
But, out of all these hindrances I have managed to come up, I give that credit
to the university for challenging me all the way to make me work hard to be
ready for the life to come after it. Well, starting off with the year 2010 when
my parents took the decision to getting me into Amity, my father was more
excited about it, his blessing will be always with me and I know he will be
very happy to see me becoming an engineer from heaven. I still remember I used
to be a kid with no social exposure, I was shy, and I was a lot introvert. I
met new friends in the college on my first day (Nishant and Pranav). I wasn’t
able to collect my confidence to even speak out to them openly and more
importantly I think I was the only person who might have read the entire
“PERFORMA” provided by the university. This year I skipped an exam and later in
the 2nd semester I even had a back and was debarred in behavioural
science, twice I got fainted and even injured myself in one time. I lost my
confidence, but as you know there is always your time, next three years were about
to show me success. I managed to come up with clearing all the backlogs and
maintain a decent cgpa. I would remember playing cricket in class, celebrating
birthdays, roaming around the college, bunking electrical sciences minor,
criticizing the college especially mechanical department, and the unforgettable
incident of Manesar of which I was a part. I would like to thank the college
for coming up with vital courses like communication skills, behavioural
sciences and foreign language that has groomed me today to face the upcoming
professional life with confidence. I am also lucky to never get into any fights
or sought of it (until now, still one semester to go). The journey till the
date has been a see-saw for me, I am very satisfied with what the university
has given me. All the great friends who have stood by me to support me in the
worst of my times and celebrate the best times as well, all the faculty who
have always believed in me in some ways. Today when I look at the Bharat Sharma
of 2010 I look at a person who was socially challenged, less interactive and
below average communicator. Now, I am more expressive, better in communicating
rather more social and have built a positive personality, it wouldn’t be
possible for me if I would have got into any other college. Amity University will be cherished in my
memories forever for the unforgettable journey it has accompanied me with.
