Before coming to Amity I always thought that college life is easy and it is fun. College is a place where no one studies. Exam papers get leaked one day before the exam so everyone gets good marks and there is no need to study but just one day before the exam. Everyone gets a chance to go abroad in the students exchange programs. Amity did not cater to any of my needs and did not give me anything what I was expecting. But I am not at all unhappy with my college just because it has given me something that no other college could have given. It has given me strength and has made me strong enough to accept the sad truths in life. Now I am not afraid of any bad experience because the worst I have already had.
One more thing which my college has given me is, my friends and has helped me in finding my interests. I know when I am here I am always going to hate my college but once I am out of my college I will feel strong and happy and will give all the credit to my college. I will be a proud amitian then.
First year of my college, I was living in the hostel. Hostel had so many restrictions that I decided not to take hostel in my next year. Second year I shifted to my home in Delhi. I was living with my family. Things became easy and my health improved because quality of food in the hostel was bad. I used to miss my friends those were there in the hostel, they missed me too. I did not study at all in the first year and had a bad CGPA. Since then I am trying to improve my score. When I shifted to my home I was always reminded by my parents to study and just because of that my score improved but very gradually.
I will also educate parents who want their kids to join amity, and also the students who want to join. I will make them prepared for the amity experience.
